Chris Murphy is Vice President and General Manager of Viral Vector Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific.  Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Chris served in a number of leadership roles including chief operations officer for Brammer Bio, general manager for the Sanofi-Genzyme Allston Landing site in Boston and as head of Gene Therapy Operations for Genzyme in San Diego.  Chris has more than 30 years of experience in biologics and viral vector manufacturing, including process development and plant operations and holds a Master of Science degree in biochemistry from New York Medical College.  In addition to his work at Thermo Fisher, Chris serves as Board Chair for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation, Vice President on the Board of Directors at West End House Boys and Girls Club in Boston, and as a Board Member on Mass Bio.
