Tom Hubbard

NEHI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization composed of stakeholders from across all key sectors of U.S. health care, with a mission to advance innovations that improve health, enhance the quality of health care, and achieve greater value for the money spent.

Tom Hubbard manages NEHI projects on manufacturer-payer value-based arrangements, medication management and adherence, comparative effectiveness research and Real World Evidence. Recent NEHI reports he authored include, “Multi-Cancer Early Detection Tests for Cancer Screening: A Call for Consensus on Benefit-Risk Assessment,” “Principles of Trustworthy Communication Among Patient Communities and Health Care Payers Regarding Novel Therapies,”  and “Envisioning Value-based Provider Payment for Obesity Treatment and Support.

Tom previously served as Vice President for Technology Development and Analysis at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, as an economic development aide to U.S. Senator John Kerry and Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, and as the community development director of Gardner, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
