Niranjana Nagarajan, is an immunologist and entrepreneur. Following her academic training at the La Jolla Institute and the University of California Berkeley, she transitioned to working in drug discovery research. She has worked on discovery research and clinical stage program at large companies and early stage biotechs. She has a deep passion for using insights into the immune system to develop therapeutics for autoimmune disease. She has channeled this into building an IL-2 mutein platform at Delinia and Celgene, and to advancing Treg cell therapies for MS and T1D as head of research at Abata Therapeutics. As an Entrepreneur in Residence at Mass General Brigham Ventures, she’s building a new company to bring more innovative therapies to patients.
