Dr. Kim is an oncologist and a physician-scientist at the MGH Cancer Center with interests in using deep learning (DL) and Omics to advance precision oncology and study therapeutic resistance. His laboratory efforts leverage DL to analyze and integrate conventional data modalities (e.g., radiology, pathology) into next generation biomarkers that improve patient stratification and treatment selection in solid tumor oncology. His work has received funding from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, American Association of Cancer Research, Conquer Cancer/American Society of Clinical Oncology, National Cancer Institute, and American Brain Tumor Association.
