Dr. Silk is a medical oncologist specializing in cutaneous oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She conducts clinical trials of immuno-therapeutics such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, cytokine therapy, and microbial-based cancer therapeutics. She has led two multisite clinical trials combining intratumoral oncolytic viruses with immune checkpoint blockade. Dr. Silk serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. Dr. Silk received her medical degree and master’s degree in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Michigan in 2014. She joined the faculty at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2019, where she is the Co-Director of the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Center of Excellence.
