Dr. Albert Edge is Eaton Peabody Professor of Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Eye and Ear. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and a faculty member of the Harvard Speech and Hearing Biosciences graduate program. He was previously an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Joslin Diabetes Center. He works on stem cell differentiation and regeneration of the inner ear and has identified developmental pathways that are effective in converting stem cells into hair cells and neurons with the goal of developing treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
