Kris Joshi, PhD is EVP and President, Network Solutions, at Change Healthcare. Kris leads the largest healthcare network in the US, connecting payers, providers, pharmacies, and labs, carrying over $2 trillion in healthcare transactions every year from over 200 million unique individuals and 800,000 providers. Previously, Kris was Global Vice President for Healthcare in Oracle Corporation′s Health Sciences Global Business Unit where he led the development of Oracle’s personalized medicine platform, and led two major acquisitions for Oracle in the life sciences space. Kris has been an advocate for interoperability for over 15 years, and has been a supporter of the eHealth Initiative since its founding. He also serves on the Board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition. Kris was head of strategy for IBM’s global healthcare business and a consultant with McKinsey and Company in prior roles. Kris holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Caltech, and a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT.
