Karen Reilly, DNP, RN

    • Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Critical Care, Cardiovascular and Surgical Services, BH

Dr. Reilly leads nursing practice and patient care in the Cardiovascular, Thoracic and Surgical Acute and Critical Care areas. She previously served as nurse director of cardiovascular units on Shapiro 9/10 and 9 East. Her extensive leadership experience includes participating in the planning and opening of the hospital’s Shapiro Cardiovascular Center. In addition, she has led nursing teams that achieved prestigious awards, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Silver Beacon Award. Dr. Reilly’s research has explored the effect of reflective practice on the nursing practice environment.
