Jim is a managing director in the Healthcare Group covering healthcare services and technology companies. Previously, he was a healthcare services equity research analyst. Jim first joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 as an analyst and rejoined the firm in 2007 as an associate. He was named vice president in 2010, managing director in 2015 and partner in 2018. Jim serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Ben’s Friends, a nonprofit focused
on building online communities for patients with rare diseases.
Jim earned a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University in 2002, a JD from Northwestern University School of Law and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2007.
